ON THE COVER:

This 800,000-square-foot pavement under construction at a FedEx facility in Pontiac, Mich., was flipped to concrete through the work of Ray Merlo, Merlo Construction, Milford, Mich., and the NRMCA Design Assistance Program. Concrete has become the preferred pavement for FedEx distribution centers.
