This 200,000 square foot Brass Mills Mall in Waterbury, Connecticut incorporates eight custom-accent areas, each over 800sf of Thru-Body Porcelain Tile cut entirely with waterjet technology. The entire project is a showcase of waterjet's ability to work with all types of materials, including, ceramic, glazed, through-body, porcelain, and the latest large format panels and tiles. All materials are easily fabricated, inlaid, and patterned. Durable, cleanable, and colorful ceramics are favorites of designers. One Light Luxury Apartments represents the first residential tower built in downtown Kansas City since 1976 and the first new high-rise construction within the freeway loop since 2006. MAPEI systems for the installation of tile, wood, vinyl plank and carpet tile were used to complete stylish new luxury apartments located in the Power & Light District of Kansas City, Missouri. FDC Contract of Kansas City installed the wood and carpet tile in the common areas plus the vinyl plank in all the apartments. Metro Tile Contractors of Overland Park, KS, installed the tile in the apartments and the common areas.

AMLI River North Apartments is contributing to the needs and wants of the rental market with 409 upscale luxury living apartments in a 50-story multi-unit residential tower on Chicago's north side. Floor coverings in common spaces and apartments include wood, carpet and tile. Surface preparation was an important step in producing smooth, level floors to receive the different floor coverings. With the help of UZIN self-leveling and subfloor preparation materials, NFI Enterprises, LLC, in Auburn, Washington was able to install ceramic flooring on a 27,000 square foot specialty grocery store that featured a floor plan with the store level above the parking garage.
